The Emeriti of the University of Melbourne are an important group of former Professors who have left the University after a period of distinguished service to the University and have been awarded Professor Emeritus status.
In awarding the title Professor Emeritus, the University of Melbourne seeks to recognise publicly the esteemed contribution that these individuals have made to enhance the intellectual, creative and cultural life of the University.
