International Women's Day 2022

Women from diverse backgrounds have been making important contributions to the University of Melbourne for over 150 years. IWD 2022 gives us an opportunity to acknowledge the determination and resilience of all the women who paved the way before us in academia and professional life,  remember how far we've come, and consider the challenges and opportunities ahead.

A focus on intersectionality within the University offers an opportunity to celebrate women from diverse backgrounds who may have faced additional barriers to success at the University and to consider actions to reduce these barriers in the future.
