You will consider the different roles that mentors, sponsors, coaches, peers and critical friends can play in providing guidance, constructive challenge, visibility and access to new opportunities.

The session will also highlight relevant University resources, programs and communities of practice. You will leave with practical strategies for strengthening your professional connections, making purposeful use of available support and taking more intentional steps in your education-focused career.

This interactive workshop will introduce the different Fellowship categories, explore the benefits of professional recognition, and help participants identify the Fellowship pathway most aligned with their experience. Participants will reflect on their own teaching and learning practice, discuss strategies for gathering evidence of impact, and learn about the support available at the University of Melbourne to prepare a successful application.
