Daniel Motika was elected to Council commencing 5 May 2026.
Daniel is a third-year student currently studying a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics and International Relations and Economics.
Daniel is the current General Secretary of the University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) and has served as a member of UMSU’s Students' Council since 2024. He also serves on the Teaching, Learning and Quality Assurance Committee (TALQAC), a subcommittee of Academic Board. Daniel has previously served on the Selection Procedures Committee (SPC), also a subcommittee of Academic Board.
Alongside these roles, Daniel has actively volunteered on campus in UnionMart and for other campus events.
