The Chief Information Officer group drives strategic priorities and innovation in critical systems and services at the University, enhancing engagement with stakeholders to better inform functional prioritisation of technology improvements.
Amit Achrekar has been with the University since 2019 as the inaugural Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He has lead significant people, process, and technology improvements to establish and mature the University's cybersecurity function from the ground up. Prior to joining the University, Amit had an extensive career in cybersecurity and technology roles, primarily in the financial services sector.
