The Chief Information Officer group drives strategic priorities and innovation in critical systems and services at the University, enhancing engagement with stakeholders to better inform functional prioritisation of technology improvements.
Daniel Buttigieg joined the University in 2015 and has held a range of technology leadership roles during this time, currently leading the Enterprise Technology team within Business Services. Daniel has extensive experience leading IT teams in higher education, including previous roles at Swinburne University of Technology, and has been an active contributor to the higher education IT sector through various groups including the Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT) and the Victorian Directors of Information Technology (VDIT).
