Professor Justin Zobel is Pro Vice-Chancellor in the University of Melbourne’s research portfolio; previously he was Head of the University of Melbourne’s School of Computing and Information Systems. In his research community, Professor Zobel is best known for his role in the development of algorithms for efficient web search, and also works in bioinformatics and fundamental algorithms. He has long-standing interests in academic conduct and research methods, and is the author of three texts on graduate study skills.
