Mr Neil Robinson
Neil leads a team of 1600 professional staff across nine portfolio areas and is a member of several University committees and steering groups.
University Services supports the aspirations of the University’s students, staff and researchers. It provides infrastructure, finance and employee, academic and research support – among other important services – across the University and to the broader University community.
Academic Services is responsible for student administration from admission to graduation, service planning and delivery, student success, wellbeing and scholarly services.
Business Intelligence and Reporting informs University decision-making by maintaining a trusted, central data asset and partnering on reliable reporting and analytical insights. The team also delivers key regulatory and statutory reporting to external agencies.
Commercial Services comprises two teams. Procurement Services uses the University’s spend data to generate purchasing savings, drive commercial efficiency and explore better ways of partnering with vendors. Business Advisory Services anticipates and responds to the University’s priorities, providing commercially-astute support that informs the University’s decision-making process.
External Relations is responsible for recruiting undergraduate students to the University from Victoria, the rest of Australia, and from 120 countries. External Relations is also a marketing services provider to the University, delivering marketing and advertising, market research, website development, graphic design and printing, CRM and event management support, among other areas.
Finance and Employee Services provides finance, HR and OH&S services to all University staff.
Infrastructure Services is responsible for the delivery of information technology and facilities management services to the University.
Legal and Risk provides specialist advice on and services that support risk management, records management, privacy, FOI, policy and process development, legal advice and a large range of other legal and compliance matters.
Project Services plans and delivers construction projects for the University. Our EPMO team provides specialist planning, delivery and reporting support for significant IT and construction initiatives.
Research, Innovation and Commercialisation helps drive research and its impact at the University. It supports academic staff on grants and with research contracts; develops and manages commercial partnerships; and provides business development, intellectual property and technology licensing services to the University, among many other initiatives.
