The Operational Performance Group delivers functions that design, evaluate, improve and support operations across the University.

Research, Innovation and Commercialisation is a passionate team of professional experts supporting our researchers make brilliant discoveries and partner with business, government and not-for-profit organisations so those ideas translate into benefits for society. The team supports all aspects of research management (e.g. grants, contracts, ethics, integrity, finance, researcher capability development), industry partnerships and business development, major bid development, IP commercialisation, innovation precincts, entrepreneurial programs (e.g. MAP and TraM) and venture capital funding (e.g. UoM Genesis Pre-Seed Fund, Tin Alley Ventures).

Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Systems Innovation) works with senior members of the University of Melbourne community in the formulation and oversight of policies regarding data governance and digital innovation for the University.
