Alexis brings deep experience to the CPO role. Prior to joining the University of Melbourne in November 2023, Alexis served as the Head of People, Asia-Pacific for one of the world’s leading global real estate firms, Cushman & Wakefield, caring for 11,000 employees across the Asia-Pacific region.
Alexis’ experience spans complex sectors including financial services, telecommunications, health, and aged care and brings a depth of comparative experience of HR nationally and across the globe. In previous roles, Alexis has been an exemplary leader, championing positive cultural change in areas of real significance to the University, such as diversity and inclusion, Indigenous advancement, and talent and leadership development.
Among her many professional achievements, Alexis has built and developed exceptionally talented teams, improved employee engagement and worked as a trusted partner to drive large-scale transformational change.
Passionate about creating inclusive, inspiring workplaces where people can build careers and thrive, Alexis has also actively supported the advancement of women through education, empowerment, and employment in the Asia-Pacific.
