Dr Bishakhdatta Gayen awarded John Booker Medal

Dr Bishakhdatta Gayen has been honoured by the Australian Academy of Science.

Dr Gayen was awarded the prestigious John Booker Medal for outstanding research in engineering mechanics that addresses problems in the static and dynamic response of physical systems within engineering and applied mathematics disciplines.

Dr Gayen's research interests and experience lie in the areas of geophysical fluid dynamics, physical oceanography and computational fluid dynamics.
