Professor Lewis is Professor of Public Policy in the Faculty of Arts, and Academic Director, Scholarly and Social Research Impact in Chancellery Research and Enterprise.

Professor Lewis receives the award for outstanding, impactful and lasting scholarly contribution to the field of public management and policy implementation. IRSPM noted her core contributions to the study of networked and marketised governance, her six books and more than 80 journal articles and book chapters, and her service to the community, among other accomplishments.

Professor Lewis said she was honoured to receive the award.

“I feel very humbled and delighted to receive this award for my scholarship but also my broader impact and contribution to this research society and to mentoring many scholars at Melbourne and around the world through IRSPM,” Professor Lewis said.
