University of Melbourne Highly Cited Researchers receive global recognition

Thirty-three researchers at the University of Melbourne have been named in the globally recognised Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2025 list.

Researchers and honoraries have been acknowledged for their contributions across a diverse range of fields and disciplines, including environment and ecology, psychiatry and psychology, social sciences and clinical medicine.

A Highly Cited Researcher is someone whose work has a major impact in their field and helps shape research worldwide.

7,131 individual researchers from 60 countries and regions have been recognised for their exceptional influence.

These researchers have produced multiple papers that rank in the top 1% by citations within their field.
