University researchers receive veski Victoria Fellowships

Five early-career researchers have received Victoria Fellowships from veski.

Five early-career researchers from the University of Melbourne have received Victoria Fellowships, delivered by veski on behalf of the Victorian Government.

Victoria Fellows each receive $18,000 to support them in undertaking international study to advance their work in global settings, which will contribute to longer term growth of Victoria’s research and innovation capabilities.

The University’s recipients in the Physical Sciences category are:

  • Dr Wenyi Li from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
  • Dr Tuan Nguyen from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
  • Dr Wei Tong from the Faculty of Science

The University’s recipients in the Life Sciences category are:

  • Dr Dinh Bui from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
  • Dr Sarah McColl-Gausden from the Faculty of Science
