New Fellows of the 2025 National Library of Australia Scholarships and Asia Study Grants announced
Jesse Seeberg-Gordon, Caitlin Hughes and Michael Haryo Bagus Raditya from the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Arts are among the 23 researchers elected to the 2025 National Library of Australia Fellowships, Scholarships and Asia Study Grants.
Funded through generous philanthropic gifts and bequests, the Fellowships, Scholarships and Study Grants encourage new and innovative research across a range of scholarly and creative disciplines.
Mr Seeberg-Gordon received the Morag Fraser Scholarship for his study on Australian-Soviet relations., Ms Hughes received The National Library of Australia Scholarship in Asian Studies for her work in Eastern Indonesian art and Mr Haryo Bagus Raditya, PhD candidate at the Asia Institute, received an Asia Study Grant for his research into Indonesian Music.
Researchers from across the country will share in $225,000 to support residencies at the National Library in Canberra, with research drawing on the Library’s extensive collections. To view the full list of Fellows, visit the National Library of Australia website.
