Lynley Eavis is a Communications Officer in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. She works closely with colleagues across the Faculty, Schools and Institutes to develop multimedia comms that support their achievements, research and teaching goals, staff and students. Lynley is thrilled to be part of the Pride in Action Network and hopes to use her skills to build community and resources that lead to safer, more inclusive spaces where LGBTIQA+ staff and students can thrive. Outside of the University, Lynley designs the literary journal Overland, makes silly paintings for her friends and passionately follows the annual NZ Bird of Year competition (the Kākāpō were robbed).
