New Media Production Studios unveiled

The Ground Floor of the Babel Building has had an upgrade, now housing the University’s first integrated Media Production Studio. The development of this new facility marks a significant milestone in enhancing the University's media production capabilities by providing exceptional learning opportunities for students, and staff with elevated teaching facilities to enrich the student experience.

The new Media Production Studio offers a unique opportunity for students to gain practical, hands-on experience in various aspects of media production, from video and audio recording to editing and post-production. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the versatile studios will provide students with access to industry-standard resources, including:

• Small and large TV / multi-camera studios

• Dedicated control rooms for both multi-cam spaces

• Dedicated audio control room

• Main Audio studio

• Several self-operable multimedia / podcast and recording studios

• Loan equipment storage.
