Advancing Students and Education strategy
The University is developing a new Advancing Students and Education (ASE) strategy to ensure students are right at the heart of our community and everything we do as a University. The new strategy will outline the ways in which the student experience and teaching and learning priorities of Advancing Melbourne will be realised between now and 2030. We will need to consider how the world of education is changing, and what this means for the University of Melbourne. Our strategy should be ambitious, drive and embrace innovation to address known issues, develop new areas of excellence and lead nationally and internationally.
From early April 2022 there has been extensive, open and rich conversations about advancing students and education. The consultation process received over 2,500 submissions from staff and students of the University across a variety of forums, in addition to discussions with key stakeholder and governance groups.
It is envisaged the strategy will lead to a range of bold and exciting new initiatives: some will begin immediate implementation from 2023, while others, based on discussions with the community thus far, will require further investigation and development.
To review the consultation activity from the last eight months, including the results of the survey, what was heard during consultation and town hall recordings we recommend you join the LMS Community by signing in with your University credentials.
Keep an eye on this page in 2023 for the latest updates.
