Pedro moved to Australia after completing his Animal Science degree and a master’s in wildlife genetics in Brazil. Now a PhD candidate in Veterinary Science, he researches Neospora caninum transmission in Victoria. Pedro is part of the Melbourne Veterinary School’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee and is excited to bring his international student perspective, along with his communication and research skills, to the Pride in Action Network. Outside the lab, Pedro loves music and hiking, and he never says no to brunch.
