Andrew Zur

Co-Chair| He/Him

Andy is a Lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing, where he's been teaching since 2009. As Co-Chair of the Pride in Action Network, he's focused on strengthening community and allyship across the University — bringing LGBTQIA+ staff and students together in ways that go beyond a single month or event. His teaching and research interests in ethical curriculum design and inclusive learning environments feed directly into that work, particularly how course and assessment design can make classrooms feel welcoming for everyone. Outside work, Andy is putting together the final touches on a podcast called What They Don't Teach You aimed at Gen Z university students, and can usually be found walking his two labradors, Rolo and Cassie, around Abbotsford and Richmond with his partner. A self-confessed whodunnit obsessive, he's happiest curled up with a suspense thriller, playing a round of Cluedo, or traversing the kingdom of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda. Andy's latest creative endeavour is working on an elaborate LEGO Mario Kart Rainbow Road build.
