Law Institute of Victoria's President's Award for Outstanding Service

Eu-Jin Teo, from the Faculty of Business and Economics, has been awarded a President’s Award for Outstanding Service from the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV).

A senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Mr Teo was recognised for his more than 20 year commitment to the oldest law society in Australia. Upon conferring the award, the Institute cited Mr Teo’s expertise and policy contributions, as well as his continued service on multiple committees and sub-committees:

“Eu Jin is highly regarded for his expert input into policy submissions. He is recognised as the pre-eminent researcher on Section 39, with his work directly supporting LIV advocacy and strengthening professional standards on legal professional privilege.

“Through his research, CPD presentations, and numerous articles for the Law Institute Journal, Eu Jin has provided invaluable support to the LIV ethics team and the wider profession.”
