Senior Director of Advancement, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS)

The Senior Director of Advancement, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) leads alumni relations and philanthropic programs for the Faculty, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, hospitals and research institute partners.

The team includes staff who work on principal and major gifts and bespoke engagement opportunities for the MDHS faculty. The Senior Director identifies and develops opportunities for cross-faculty philanthropic support as well as negotiating shared service delivery to support school and faculty priorities.

Allison Howell Quinton has been connecting philanthropists to the University since she joined as Deputy Director, and Head, Major Gifts, in 2018. She currently leads the MDHS Advancement team as the Senior Director where her focus is on transformational philanthropic growth for medical research and student success.

Allison is a passionate fundraising executive with over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across North America, Australia and Asia. Before her move to Australia, Allison led major gifts programs and capital campaigns in Canada, where she built teams of Development and Marketing & Communications specialists and developed long-term revenue growth strategies in health and human services.
