The Senior Director Advancement, Alumni Relations and Events connects the University of Melbourne with a community of more than 360 000 alumni around the world, building lifelong relationships. It oversees alumni events, communications and marketing, advocacy and recognition programs, regular giving, and student experience and benefits.
Brigette Sancho oversees the strategic development and operations that enable the University to engage with its global alumni and donor community of over 460,000 as the Senior Director of Alumni Relations & Events. With over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, economic development, public-private partnerships, alumni engagement and community relations in both the US and Australia, Brigette specialises in fundraising for Indigenous education and research.
Prior to joining the University of Melbourne, she served as Executive Manager, Engagement in the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Indigenous Leadership and Engagement at the University of Technology Sydney, where she led the development and execution of strategies to support Indigenous education and research.
