The Senior Director of Advancement Operations leads the delivery and support of Advancement’s critical service functions that enables the University’s connection with its alumni and philanthropic community. The Operations team encompasses, Advancement Information Management, Customer Success, Gift Operations (including gift coordination, gift processing and gift financial reporting), and Gift Acceptance.
Rachael Dalton leads the Advancement Operations team, overseeing Advancement’s most critical enabling functions that allow the University to connect with alumni, donors and friends. This includes Advancement systems and support, gift operations, prospect research and management, budget and planning, organisational development and HR, governance, policy, and OHS.
Rachael joined the University in 2013 in IT business relationship roles before transitioning to the Advancement team in September 2018 as Deputy Director, Advancement Operations. Prior to her role at the University, Rachael spent five years in key leadership IT roles at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and seven years in IT consulting.
