Provides strategic guidance and coordination of competitor analysis, business intelligence, government affairs and performance monitoring, and drives the University’s approach to proactively shaping its policy context, public perceptions and international reputation.
Matthew is the Director of Strategic Intelligence. He is a corporate affairs specialist with nearly three decades experience, providing high level advice and counsel to operations in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
He has extensive experience across all areas of stakeholder engagement including media, community, employee and government relations, and specialises in successfully managing complex situations with multiple stakeholder agendas.
Matthew has deep expertise in developing and executing communication strategies for transformation and cultural change programs, issues and crisis management as well as institutional re-brands and has worked in a wide range of higher education, private and public sector roles.
