Targeted Emails

Targeted emails allow you to promote paid employment opportunities directly to University of Melbourne students of your preferred disciplines. With targeted emails you can:

  • send company information and job openings to students of specific demographic identifiers to ensure a more engaged and receptive audience.
  • distribute content that can be easily shared and increase traffic to your website or social media channels through email hyperlinks.

The price for scheduling a targeted email is $165 (including GST) per selected study discipline. To submit a targeted email request form, follow these steps:

  1. Log in or register for Careers Online.
  2. Once logged in, click the ‘Targeted email’ tab on the sidebar and fill out the request form.
  3. Our team will be in contact to confirm your request within 3 business days.
  4. If it is a job opportunity, we recommend posting your job on the Careers Online noticeboard. To do this, log into Careers Online, select 'Add job' and follow the prompts.

Employer Information Session

Build your organisation’s brand on-campus and develop your talent pipeline by hosting an information session with a private audience of students. Employer Information Sessions enable you to:

  • engage in-person or virtually with students from specific study disciplines or demographic identifiers.
  • provide details about your organisation, employment opportunities, application processes.
  • conduct recruitment activities.

Inclusions:

  • on-campus venue booking
  • 1 x eDM to a maximum of 4 selected identifiers or disciplines
  • management of promotion and student registration

There are a limited number of employer information sessions available each year. Student reach and diversity of recruitment strategies will be considered when reviewing requests.

The price for scheduling an Employer Information Session $660 (including GST). To submit an employer information session request form, follow these steps:

  1. Log in or register for Careers Online.
  2. Click the form on the left-hand side tab “Employer Information Session”
  3. Complete and submit form
  4. Our team will confirm availability or provide alternate dates within 3 business days

Event Promotion Package

This all-inclusive package promotes your in-house event, delivered at your organisation’s venue or online. It promotes your brand and employment opportunities directly to University of Melbourne students across multiple internal channels.

The package includes:

  • a promotional tile created on the official University job board featuring your organisation’s self-managed event details for one week.
  • your company event’s own registration page on Careers Online for additional student visibility.
  • one targeted email to students of 3 study disciplines (extra disciplines or criteria will cost $165 each).
  • further promotion to relevant faculties, where appropriate.

The price for scheduling the Event Promotions Package is $495 (including GST). To submit an event promotion package form, follow these steps:

  1. Log in or register for Careers Online.
  2. Click the form on the left-hand side tab “Event Promotions Package”
  3. Complete and submit form
  4. Our team will be in touch to confirm your order request within 3 business days
