About Chancellery Research and Enterprise

Chancellery Research and Enterprise develops and oversees the University of Melbourne’s research agenda and enables the University’s overarching Research at Melbourne strategy.

The team cultivates industry engagement and investigator-driven research in the fundamental enabling disciplines, while pursuing applied solutions to three Grand Challenges: Understanding our Place and Purpose, Fostering Health and Wellbeing, and Supporting Sustainability and Resilience.

Provides academic leadership across the University of Melbourne, with overall responsibility for research strategy and facilitating opportunities in consultation and collaboration with Deans. Supports the Vice-Chancellor in leadership and management of the University of Melbourne.
