Chancellery Research and Enterprise develops and oversees the University of Melbourne’s research agenda and enables the University’s overarching Research at Melbourne strategy.
The team cultivates industry engagement and investigator-driven research in the fundamental enabling disciplines, while pursuing applied solutions to three Grand Challenges: Understanding our Place and Purpose, Fostering Health and Wellbeing, and Supporting Sustainability and Resilience.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) provides academic leadership and support to the Vice-Chancellor in management of the University of Melbourne. Professor Cassidy is responsible for research strategy and facilitating opportunities in consultation and collaboration with Deans.
