Freedom of Information Part II - Information Statements

The University aims to make information and documents easily accessible to members of the public. We release a large amount of information through online and print publishing as well as directly to an individual upon their request. Making information easily accessible reduces the need for members of the public to submit requests under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic).

The information statements on this page outline the functions of the University and provide a non-exhaustive list of the types of information and documents we hold in relation to our functions.

If you cannot find the information you are seeking after reviewing these statements or other pages on our website, we encourage you to contact the relevant faculty, school, or business area of the University in the first instance. Otherwise the Freedom of Information Lead may be able to direct or assist you.

These statements outline how the University is satisfying its legal obligation to make information readily available to the public.

Statement 3 lists out steps required to submit a request to access documents under the freedom of information act and the procedures involved with it.

Statement 4 lists out the publications that the University produces.

Statement 5 - Policies and processes

Statement 5 lists out the hierarchy of the act, university statutes, university policies, its guidelines, supporting documents etc.

Statement 6 - Report literature

Statement 6 lists out the official University publications including annual report, strategic plans and investment reports.
